At RAISOR we have a proven track record of success built over many years in areas such as major gifts, individual giving, corporate donations and trusts and foundations (including Lottery and Statutory Funding) applications. We also have extensive experience in events organisation, legacy campaigning, national draw competitions and direct mail fundraising.

Our founder and Managing Director, Robert Astick has been a professional fundraiser for over 20 years and was one of the first fundraisers in the UK to achieve the Certified Fund Raising Executive qualification, The only globally-recognised accreditation certification for fundraising professionals in 2004.  More than 7,000 fundraising professionals worldwide have achieved certification based upon demonstration and proof of practical fundraising experience and knowledge, culminating in passing a 200 question exam of best practice.​

Founded in 2001, CFRE International is an independent nonprofit organization whose sole mission is dedicated to setting standards in philanthropy through a valid and reliable certification process for fundraising professionals.

In 2017, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited CFRE certification under the ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024 standard for personnel certification programs, making the CFRE credential the world’s only accredited certification for philanthropic fundraising professionals.

ANSI accreditation is the hallmark of a rigorous, high-quality certification program. Accreditation by ANSI means that the CFRE credential’s global significance is recognized by other worldwide accrediting bodies with which ANSI has established multilateral recognition agreements.
